My eyes kept wandering behind him. Over and over again. Hourly. Daily. For weeks.
Meanwhile, I've been watching him for nine months and I can't get him out of my head. But I can't talk to him either. Luca is the big girl chaser and by far the most popular, most handsome and hottest guy in school. And I'm the most invisible person in school, and I like him. What he doesn't know is that I'm a cowardly piece of work who doesn't even dare exchange a word with him. We are also total opposites. He is tall, brown-haired, self-confident and popular. I, on the other hand, am small, blonde, shy and totally invisible.
“Have you still not exchanged a word with him, Liam?“ he asked me like every day.
“What do you think, Jonas?” I sighed.
“Don't you think it can't go on like this forever?”
“What should I do, Jonas?”
“Well, talk to him.”
“Dream on!”
“You're incorrigible, Liam,“ Jonas laughed.
“And you're annoying,” we continued laughing.
“Do you have any plans after school, Liam?”
“Hmmm let me think. Oh yes. No, I'm sorry, my mother wanted to introduce me to her new boyfriend and if I'm late...”
“...then she'll tear your head off?” Jonas started laughing.
“You could say that. I'm sorry, Jonas.”
“Oh, it's not a big deal. We're best buddies, after all. Then we'll just meet up sometime.”
“Sure.”
I looked at my watch.
“Is it that late already?”
Just as I said this, the bell rang.
“Perfect timing as always,” he laughed again.
We went back to class.
It was math. Math in the last hour. What could be better? Maybe no math? I'm so exceptionally bad at this subject.
“Come to the board and solve this equation... ummm... how about you, Liam?” my math teacher pointed at me.
I froze.
“What does it look like?”
I gradually came out of my state of shock when Jonas poked me with his pen.
“Er, yes...” I stood up from my desk.
I walked towards the blackboard, feeling the stares of my classmates on my back.
Take it easy, Liam, take it easy!
Solving something on the board wasn't really my thing. All my teachers knew this and therefore always left me alone, but not this one. He apparently thought it would be funny to embarrass me. Trembling, I took the chalk in my hand and looked at the equation more closely. I hoped for a miracle. I started to write.
There was a knock at the door.
“Come in,“ the teacher called.
The miracle has been successful!!!
“Ahh. Luca, what is it?” I was startled.
“I'm supposed to bring you a few copies,“ Luca answered my teacher.
I was petrified.
“Thank you. You're very reliable.”
“I have to be as head boy,” Luca smiled.
Didn't I mention that? He is also our head boy, which doesn't make him any less popular. Quite the opposite. At that moment, my heart began to beat wildly.
“That's right, you're doing a good job.”
“Thanks. I have to get back to class, Mr. Schmidt.”
Luca closed the door behind him and my esteemed math teacher paid attention to me again.
“Haven't you solved the equation yet?”
“Errr.”
I was still totally frozen and I'm not the best at math anyway. You can imagine how that turned out.
“Mr. Schmidt really put you through your paces again.”
“You can say that again.”
“But I didn't think that our head boy would come in at that moment.”
I blushed a little.
“You're very honest in moments like these, Liam.”
“That's not true!“ Jonas laughed.
He had seen right through me again...
“But you are, you can tell that you like him.”
“Oh shut up!”
“Ok I have to turn here today,” I pointed to the road next to us.
“Good luck with your mother and her friend,“ Jonas said goodbye.
Let's see, Mom said we'd meet at the café behind the center.
I had to think about whether that was right, unfortunately I was easily forgetful. And not because I was blonde! Jonas always said that. He took pleasure in teasing me.
“That should be it!” I mused in front of the café.
“Come on in, Liam.”
“Mom!“ I was startled when she suddenly stood in front of me.
“Are you going to sit there all day or what?”
“Uh, no.”
“Then come on!”
“All right.”
We entered the café.
“Here we are, honey!” My mother was as happy as a sandboy.
“Well?“ smiled a tall man with dark brown hair and chocolate-brown, friendly eyes at us.
“This must be your son Liam, Klarissa.”
“Yes, that's him,” she smiled.
“I've heard a lot about you, Liam,“ he took my hand.
“Nice to meet you,” I smiled a little insincerely.
I didn't really know him. Only from seeing him when he picked up my mother.
“Isn't your son here, Thomas?“ my mother asked.
“Yes, he'll be here later, he has a lot to do at school. He's the head boy, you know.”
That sounds familiar...
“That's really impressive,” my mother marveled.
“Let's have a cup of coffee and then we'll go to Thomas,” my mother explained to me.
I was amazed, but didn't want to ask why we wanted to go to her boyfriend afterwards. I didn't want to seem impolite.
After half an hour of chatting and drinking coffee, we set off. During the drive, my mother and Thomas talked about this and that. Whereupon I fell asleep.
Slowly my eyelids twitched and I began to open them.
“Where am I?“ I mumbled half asleep.
“In my room.” I was startled. Someone had answered!?!?
I opened my eyes and looked at the door. My heart almost stopped.
Am I dreaming?!?
“What are you looking at me like that?” he asked again.
Is it just my imagination or is Luca, THE LUCA, standing in my room? Wait...
Quite paradoxically, I looked around the room. This was not my room! I couldn't get a word out.
“I'll quickly tell our parents that you've woken up.
What?
My mouth opened by itself: “Wait!”
“Why are you here, Luca?” I asked with a shaky voice.
“You seem to know me. That's right, you go to the same school as me. It looks like we'll be brothers in the near future.”
I was confused. Not only because I had dared to speak to him, but because of his statement.
“Brothers?“ I asked, confused.
“Yes, Liam, we will be brothers.”
“We will be brothers.” These words echoed in me. Over and over again. I couldn't even realize it.
“I'll go and tell them.”
With these words, Luca left the room. I sat on his bed as if petrified. Slowly I woke up from my shock dream and began to realize what was happening. I got up and walked in the direction in which Luca had disappeared, until I reached a staircase. There I heard everyone talking downstairs and decided to go to them.
“Are you okay?” My mother asked me.
“Yes.”, I answered.
“What happened? Were you that tired?”
“I didn't sleep much last night to study.”
“You have to sleep more!”
“I'm sorry, Mom.”
I completely forgot that there were two other people in the room.
“Oh, so that's what you meant,“ I asked, confused.
So it wasn't a joke?
“You were asleep, so I couldn't tell you yet. Luca's father and I are getting married.”
I was totally perplexed.
“Exactly! You and I are going to be brothers,” Luca smiled at me.
“When are you getting married, Mom?”
“In two weeks. Oh, we'll be moving into this house, too. I would have suggested that they come to us, but four people in a small apartment.”
“I'm happy for you,” I said with a smile.
I had to process this first. Not only am I getting a new father and brother, but he, who I've had a crush on for months, is going to be my brother. I'll live under the same roof with him and see him every day. Slowly, joy began to fill me at the thought.
“Well, we have to go now. It's getting late,” my mother looked at the clock.
I looked at the clock, too: “How long have I been sleeping?”
Luca came up to me. My heart beat faster. With every step he took towards me, my heart beat faster.
“You've been sleeping for about four hours...”, he answered me and came closer.
“...in my bed.”, he whispered unobtrusively in my ear. My heart was racing.
“Are you coming?“ my mother asked while putting on her jacket.
“Uh, yes, I'm coming.”
I grabbed my jacket and was almost out the door when...
“You forgot something!” Luca called after me, waving my scarf.
My mother had already gotten into the car and I ran back to get my scarf back.
“Thanks.”
“You don't have to thank me, we'll have a lot of fun together,” he whispered so that only I could hear it.?
I blushed. Bright red. And my heart was racing wildly.
Luca handed me the scarf and went back up the stairs. He turned around to me again and smiled at me with a smile that I had never seen on his face before.
Did he know that I liked him? No, that can't be!!! Right?
With my scarf in my hand and a confused look on my face, I made my way to the car.
“What took you so long?“ my mother asked me.
“Uh, I forgot my scarf and Luca was kind enough to give it to me,” I replied hastily.
Without mentioning his whisper and his look, let alone my crush on him.
My mother didn't know about it, and it was to stay that way. It was already hard for me before, since we're both guys, and now he's also going to be my brother. I couldn't explain that, even with the best will in the world. Jonas found out about it after a few days. We were best friends, after all, so he understood and supported me.
I got into the car.
“It's nice that you already know each other, you and Luca.”
“Yes.“, I put on my now professional smile.
I thought I knew him, but I suspected that wasn't true.
“When are we going to move in with them?” I asked.
“In two weeks, so please come straight home and help pack.”
“Yes, I will, Mom.”
“Thank you,” she smiled.
When I arrived home, I went to my room. I still had to do the homework that Mr. Schmidt had given me. So I sat down at my desk and unpacked my math things. It was exhausting to do math so late at night, especially after a day like that. I stared at the equations and formulas. I was still tired from earlier and fought with my tiredness. Until it finally won.
“Hey, honey! You have to get up, otherwise you'll be late!“ my mother shook me.
I reached for my cell phone and then opened my eyes.
What???
I jumped up from the chair, grabbed my things, quickly changed and ran out.
“See you later, Mom,” I called back to my mother.
“Look ahead!” she called back to me.
I took a shortcut over a wall. Fortunately, I was athletic, so this was no problem. That I almost jumped on a sleeping cat was due to my clumsiness. But only almost! I ran down the main street, over a bridge and a few streets.
Why do I live so far away?
Well, normally I would take the train, but I overslept and missed it.
Finally arriving at school, completely out of breath, I made my way to the main entrance.
“Even though you were comfortably sleeping in my bed, you're late?” someone asked behind me.
I was startled.
“Shouldn't you be in class?“ I asked Luca, confused.
“As head boy, I have to supervise once a week. Since I always have the first hour off on Wednesdays, today is the day.”
“Ok. See you later then,” I wanted to go to class.
But Luca grabbed my hand.
He took my hand and pulled me to a wall. I stood with my back to the wall. He in front of me.?
“What's this about?“ I asked, totally perplexed.
“I thought you wanted this,” he replied with the same smile as before.
What?
“How did you get up there?”
He came closer with his face. Luca's breath caressed my ear. My heart started racing.
“It's you who's been watching me for a while.”
What? How? How come?
“Uhhhh.” I blushed.
“You're honest with your body language,” he noticed.
Shit...
I tried to push him away with my arms. It didn't work.
“You're pretty strong, but I'm stronger.”
Luca grabbed both of my wrists and held them above my head with one hand. I looked at him confused.
“If you've been watching me all this time, you would know that I'm not the bravest.”
I just looked at him even more confused.
“Judging by your expression, you don't know what I'm talking about. Then I'll give you a sample,” he said, taking my chin.
He started to kiss me. I pushed him away with all my might. I was red, very red. He took hold of my wrists again, but kissed me more intensely. My heart was racing. After a few moments, Luca broke away from me.
“We're going to have a lot of fun together, Liam,” he smiled.
I couldn't utter a word.
“I'm looking forward to our time together,” he called to me and left.
I was still standing in front of the wall, totally shocked.
After all, it was my first kiss and then also from HIM and his character was different! COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! My heart just can't stop beating and I feel a certain heat on my lips. Completely perplexed, I made my way to class.
“Come in!” my math teacher called as I knocked. I opened the door.
“I'm sorry I'm late, I overslept.”
“You can come to the board in a minute and solve this calculation.”
Could my day get any worse?
“What happened? You're not usually late, and certainly not for Schmidti's math class,“ Jonas asked me when the lesson was over.
“Uhh. I just didn't get enough sleep and nodded off again this morning,” I tried to make it sound believable.
I couldn't explain to him that my crush turned out to be a bad boy and kissed me in the hallway. He may be my best friend, but there are some things you just can't tell your friend, and this was one of them!
“You need to sleep more!”
“Yeah, that's what my mom says too,“ I laughed.
“Notice what?” he laughed too.
“Do you have time today, Liam?”
“No, unfortunately not. I have to go straight home today and for the next two weeks.”
“Have you done something wrong?”
“No. We're moving to my mom's boyfriend's house and...”
“Yes?”
“And their son.”
“Your mom's boyfriend has a son?”
“Yes. Our parents are getting married too.”
“So you're getting a brother. Is he younger?”
“No, a year older than me.”
“What's he like?” Jonas asked, totally curious.
Stop asking questions already!
“I've only spoken to him once so far, so I don't know him that well yet.”
I thought I knew him, but I was wrong. SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO
Rescue!
“Then let's go to your favorite subject, Jonas,“ I laughed.
“Don't remind me!”
“E-N-G-L-I-S-H,” I teased him.
“I know I'm bad at it. Oh yes, just for your information: Where you were still comfortably sleeping, Schmidti announced that we have a substitute in the first hour tomorrow.”
“No history!!!“, I was pleased.
“But we have M-A-T-H-E.”, Jonas grinned at me.
The corners of my mouth sank and my joy was once again in the basement. Jonas laughed.
We went to English together. Jonas, like every week at this time, was totally dumbfounded. I actually liked English, but only because I could do it and the teacher left me alone. Not like my math teacher.
The lesson seemed to drag on, as did every lesson that day.
“You've done it again for the week, Jonas,“ I nudged him.
“But it was a long lesson,” he sighed.
“You're right,“ I laughed.
“Look, isn't that...” Jonas pointed towards the school gate.
I looked there.
Urkss, it's...
“...Luca?“ he asked.
My heart leaped. At that moment, Luca turned around and stopped when he saw us.
“Hey Liam, how's it going?” he asked with a smile.
“None of your business,” I shot back at him.
Don't act so saintly!
Luca came to us.
Jonas was totally shocked by the situation.
“The puppy is baring his teeth,“ Luca began to laugh.
I looked away annoyed.
“I'll see you in two weeks, little brother.”
“We're not brothers yet, Luca!”
“Yes, not yet.”
“Are you coming, Luca?” someone from his class called.
“I'll be right there,“ Luca called.
“See you, Liam,” Luca stroked my hair and went to his classmate.
I felt a stinging look behind me: “L-I-A-M!”
“Yes?” I asked Jonas like the biggest innocent in the world.
“I think you still have a lot to tell me.”
I began to tell Jonas the whole story. That Luca was just very different than he usually seemed, much also Jonas noticed. He stood there shocked. But I kept the incident from this morning to myself.
“You and Luca will be brothers, Liam?” Jonas repeated.
“Yes.”
“And apparently he plays the saint at school, but in terms of character he is rather the opposite.”
“Exactly.”
“And you'll move in together?”
“Yes.”
“And your love for him?” Jonas asked worriedly.
“I'll have to rethink that, and it wasn't love yet. More of a crush.”
Jonas suddenly took me in his arms. I was confused.
“It'll be okay. I'll take care of you, Liam!”
The two weeks went by in a flash. After the incident when I was late, nothing like that happened again.
“Hey Liam!“ someone slapped me on the shoulder.
“!!! Jonas !!!”
“Don't be so jumpy,” Jonas started laughing.
“What's so funny about that?” I said annoyed.
“Nothing. Oh, so you're not moving in with your mom's boyfriend today?”
“Yes,“ I groaned.
“Don't worry, I'll take care of you, Liam!”
“Even at night?” I asked sarcastically.
“You know what, I'll just move in with you.” I started to laugh.
“Sure, and then you'll live in my closet or what?”
“No, in your bed.”
I was left speechless.
“I'm only joking, Liam. Come on, class is about to start.”
We were once again going to my very favorite lesson: math.
“You then have to move the parabola one place to the left...” Mr. Schmidt droned on.
He could write a book about quadratic functions alone and still enjoy it.
“Quadratic functions...“, I sighed.
“Once you know this, Liam, you can surely solve this task too.”
Jonas started laughing behind me.
“If you enjoy math, you are welcome to help your classmates, Jonas,” Mr. Schmidt encouraged him.
I'd say it was a blessing in disguise.
Jonas secretly helped me with my part of the calculation. He did the math and then told me where I had to draw the functions. And we were able to sit down proudly on our seats when everything was correct.
“We're a good team, Liam,“ Jonas whispered behind me.
“Yes, we are,” I whispered back softly.
The next 30 minutes felt like hours, no years! We had to work on our own by now. Yes, Schmidti will also finish his oral novel at some point. Hard to believe but true.
I flinched briefly and looked back. Jonas held out a small piece of paper for me to take quickly and inconspicuously.
It said: 'Hey Liam, do you have time tomorrow?'
So I started to answer him inconspicuously, that was some kind of old-school Whatsapp. Cell phones were forbidden in class, so the old-fashioned but no less unauthorized way to communicate.
Our old-school Whatsapp:
Me: 'Sure, what do we want to do?'
Jonas: 'Hmm let's see, how about the arcade or a game of soccer?'
Me: 'How about both?'
Jonas: 'Sure. What first?'
Me: 'Football, then arcade?'
Jonas: 'Ok. Let's meet at the sports field at 2 p.m.?
Me: 'Yes.'
This went on for the rest of the hour.
“The lesson is finally over,” I yawned.
“Finally the weekend, Liam!“ he was pleased.
“It's about time! Having math in the last hour is torture!”
“But only because you can't do it,” Jonas laughed.
“I'll never get it right! And it's boring, that's obvious.”
“You and your logic,” he laughed.
Teasing me was on his to-do list for the day.
“Yes, and...“ I started.
“Um, Liam?”
“Yes, Jonas?”
“I don't know if I should mention it, but Luca is coming,” he pointed behind me.
I turned around briefly and then pretended not to have seen him.
“I know you noticed me, bro,” Luca grinned.
Now, unfortunately, he could call me that. Or rather, he could since two days ago. That's when our parents got married in a small church. It was a small gathering but a nice celebration.
“Don't call me that!”
“I can, I'm your older brother now, after all.”
I rolled my eyes.
“Why are you here, Luca?“ Jonas asked curiously.
“I'm here to pick up Liam. I was ordered to carry him.”
“Well, have fun you two,” Jonas patted me on the shoulder gleefully.
I suppressed the thought of the mountain of boxes that still had to be carried and Jonas knew it.
“We have to go, otherwise your mother will tear my head off,“ Luca scratched his head.
“That's just how she is,” I laughed.
“You can laugh!” Luca marveled.
“Yes, I do that quite often during the day.”
“But not in my presence.”
“How could I? When you do something like that, is that just the way it is?”
“What do I do?“ Luca asked, grinning.
“Well, just...” Before I could finish the sentence, Luca took me and kissed me.
“Well, what do you know!“ Luca laughed.
“It's just fun to annoy you.”
“But I'm not a toy!”
“That's right, because you're MY toy,” Luca looked deep into my eyes.
My heart was beating wildly and I blushed bright red again.
I couldn't accept it, but I was his toy and he was my bad boy.
“Give me a hand, guys,“ my mother demanded.
Luca and I went to the boxes to carry them out.
“Luca?” my mother called.
“Yes?”
“When is your father coming?”
“Around 4 o'clock, he said,“ Luca replied.
“Okay, thanks!” she called back.
“No problem.”
While my mother and Luca were grabbing something, I carried the boxes. I lifted a large box.
What's in it?!?!?
With a grimace on my face, I carried this felt stone in cube form towards the stairs.
Luca happened to be passing the stairs at that moment.
“What are you doing?“ he shouted up the stairs.
“Carrying! What does it look like?!”
“Do you need help?” he asked.
“No thanks! I can do it myself!” I wheezed.
I stumbled like a penguin with the box on the stairs.
“You'll fall!“ Luca shouted frantically.
“Oh well...” I missed the step. Luca stormed up.
“Told you so!” he breathed deeply.
He was just able to catch me at the last moment. The box flew down the stairs with a bang and I was in Luca's arms. After a short breather, I realized that I had just been saved by Luca. I jumped up hectically and tried not to let on that all my heat was shooting into my head and I was blushing again.
“What happened???“, my mother hastily ran into the living room where everything happened.
“I dropped the box out of my hand,” I confessed.
“Are you okay?“ she asked us anxiously.
“No, everything's fine,” the played angel smiled at my mother.
“Then I'm relieved.”
“What's actually in this box?“ Luca asked curiously.
“Hmmm, let me think...”
My mother went to the box to open it.
“It's the decorative stone lamp,” she replied.
IT'S NOT TRUE NOW!
Luca had to laugh. I stared into space.
“Don't worry, Liam! It still works,“ she demonstrated, turning it on and off again. I sighed.
Totally exhausted and sweaty, I sat down on the stairs at Luca's house.
“Finally done!” I sighed.
I was so tired from carrying, from dragging it into the car, and I must have run up and down the stairs a hundred times.
“Dinner will be ready in an hour,” my mother told me as she headed for the kitchen. She was wearing a purple apron.
I didn't want to ask her why she was wearing it. She never wore anything like that at our house. But since she's been with Thomas, she's been on cloud nine.
“Okay. I'll take a quick shower!” I called after her in response.
“Do that, honey!”
I headed for the bathroom. By now I knew where it was. At the beginning of the day, I often got lost. I ended up everywhere. In Thomas' study, in my future room, even in the attic. Don't ask how that could happen! I have no idea myself. But there was one room I didn't end up in. Luca's. I knew where it was. Right next to my room.
With tired eyes, I opened the bathroom door and went in.
“Do you like to come into other people's bathrooms without knocking?”
I was startled. It was Luca who had asked me this question. He stood before me in boxer shorts and topless. I froze as I saw the half-wet, well-built head boy standing in front of me.
“Are you going to stand there rooted to the spot or...” he began to speak.
I slowly came out of my state of shock. He came up to me, pulled me into the bathroom and closed the door.
I felt the door handle on the right side of my back and his breath on my ear. He was close. TOO CLOSE!
“...or would you rather shower with me?“ Luca whispered.
I blushed.
“So yes,” he smiled again in his sadistic way.
“Wahhhh...” Luca took my arm and pulled me under the shower and turned it on.
“What's going on?” I asked, confused.
He didn't answer me. His hand moved along my body. He took off my top. I tried to push him away over and over again. I couldn't do anything about it, I was much too exhausted. He kissed me on the neck and finally our lips touched.
Luca took full advantage of the fact that I was so exhausted.
I couldn't defend myself. Or didn't I want to defend myself? Why did it feel so good?
These thoughts were swirling in my head as Luca touched and kissed me with his wet body. I no longer noticed the cold water around us, rather the opposite. I felt an unknown heat. I was so hot that I was already dizzy. But that didn't stop Luca from continuing.
“Dinner in ten minutes!” my mother shouted up the stairs.
The bathroom was less than a meter from the top of the stairs.
Luca came out.
“Too bad. Then we'll have to continue another time.”
He took his things and disappeared through the door. My legs weakened and began to tremble until they finally gave up. I sat in the drizzling shower, completely taken by surprise and with feelings I didn't know.
“Atschii!”
“Are you getting sick, honey?”
“It's all good, Mom. “ I answered her.
“That's because you've been in the shower too long, bro,” Luca came to the dinner table.
Our eyes met.
We had a conversation just by looking at each other:
Me: -Yeah, whose fault is that?-
Luca: -Oh come on, you wanted it!-
Me: -Definitely not!-
Luca: -We're going to have a lot of fun together.-
I knocked on the table in anger.
“What's the matter, Liam?” My mother asked me.
I realized what I was doing at that moment.
“Um... there was a fly,” I tried to talk my way out of it.
Luca had to laugh. Which only made me more angry.
It was true that I didn't defend myself, but only because I was totally exhausted and not because of Luca!!! I couldn't explain to myself how I could have liked him at one time. He is so bold, self-confident and takes advantage of me whenever he wants!!! Who would fall in love with him? Not me!
When I had finished eating, I hurried to get to my room quickly without running into Luca. Fortunately, he was still eating when I had finished.
He also has to do the dishes, so I had the best chances!
When I arrived in my room, I closed the door behind me and went to the boxes that were still waiting to be unpacked by me. I opened one box after the other and tried to distract myself with the sorting. But I couldn't. I kept thinking about that day. First the incident when the box fell out of my hand and then the one with the shower.
“Finally done!” I breathed a sigh of relief and admired my new, tidy room.
My gaze wandered across the room. It was only at this moment that I realized how big my room actually was. Compared to my current room, my old one looked like a storage room.
When you entered the room, you saw the many cupboards where I had sorted my books, to the left and right of the door. I am a secret bookworm. Right next to it was a large desk with a swivel chair. If you looked to the left, there was a huge bed, right next to the even larger window. I even had a part of the balcony. The other part belonged to Luca. Our rooms were connected by this balcony. Which I only noticed when I went out.
“Already finished unpacking?”
I was startled.
“Still quite jumpy,“ Luca chuckled when I realized he was standing next to me.
I turned my gaze away from him.
“Could it be that you're avoiding me?”
“...”
“You can answer me. I won't bite.”
I'm not so sure about that!
“...”
“Okay, that's enough for me,” Luca blurted out.
He took my hand, pulled me into my room and threw me on my bed. Luca was on top of me.
“Don't test my patience, kid!“
“Don't test my patience, kid!” blurted out the usually rather calm Luca.
Shocked, I looked at the angry Luca, who was crouching over me. I couldn't get a word out, which Luca didn't like.
“You won't listen, so you're going to feel it!” With these words, he grabbed my wrists and pushed them onto the bed.
I had no chance of freeing myself. He came closer and closer with his face until our lips finally met. I couldn't get out of his strong grip, and my heartbeat, which was getting faster and faster, didn't make the situation any easier. Until Luca let go of me on his own.
“You're pretty stubborn!”
I still didn't say a word, but not only out of protest but also because I was totally taken by surprise by the situation. Luca's look changed from angry to a smirk that I didn't like.
“If my puppy is so badly trained, I'll have to retrain it whether I like it or not!”
With one hand he broke away from me, but he was just as strong with one hand as he was with two. With the other, he grabbed his tie from his school uniform and undid it. He grabbed both of my wrists again and tied them to the bed.
“What's the point of that?!“ I asked, totally shocked.
“You can talk after all!”
“Why are you doing this?” I asked again.
“Because it's fun.”
His hand wandered under my shirt. My heart was beating wildly.
“Stop it!!!“ I became more frantic.
“But your body says something else, I can hear how fast your heart is beating,” he caressed my chest.
A shiver spread over my body. His hand wandered lower again.
“Liam!”
Luca and I looked at each other in shock. Luca nodded at me as if to say 'answer my father quickly or do you want him to see us like this?'
“Yes?“ I called back to Thomas. Luca and I were still in the same position: me tied to the bed and him standing over me.
“Can you come here a minute?” Thomas called again.
“Yes, I'll be right there!” I replied.
At that moment, Luca undid his tie and got off me. He made his way to the balcony, where he wanted to go back to his room from there. In front of the balcony door, he turned to me again with a grin.
“You won't get away with this! Your punishment will be your innocence!” he said and disappeared.
I was frozen in shock.
Does that mean he had just tried to...?
After a few seconds of processing, I jumped up. Thomas wanted something from me! But first... I went to my balcony door and locked it.
Better safe than sorry... according to his statement, this won't be the last attempt.
I went downstairs.
“What is it?“ I asked Thomas.
“There you are, Liam. Well, it's nothing important. I just wanted to let you know that me and your mother are going out tomorrow night and we wanted to ask you to stay at the house with Luca,” he explained.
“Yeah, sure,” I smiled, putting on an act.
I had completely different thoughts swirling around in my head, such as ‘How do I best barricade myself in tomorrow’ or ‘Should I spend the night somewhere else?’
Staying overnight won't work because I'm supposed to be watching the house, but the other idea isn't so bad...
My cell phone rang.
I looked at my phone. A message? From Jonas!
'Is it still on for tomorrow?' he wrote.
'Yeah, sure!'
'What did you do today, Liam?'
'C-A-R-T-O-N-S!'
'Haha. Is there something else?'
'Nope. Just unpack and stuff.
I couldn't very well tell him that I had once again been ambushed by Luca and that he wanted to take my virginity next time.
'Well then. I'm looking forward to tomorrow! Well, good night, Liam!'
'Me too, see you tomorrow!'
I checked again to make sure everything was locked, closed the curtains and then went to bed.
