The Outward Side - James Colton (first published 1971)
James Colton was a pseudonym used by gay crime novelist Joseph Hansen. Hansen used the name James Colton to write his early "Gay Pulp fiction" novels of the Stonewall era. They are considerably racier than Hansen's later novels written under his own name. The novels written as James Colton are very rare, and used copies can be very expensive.
