Hansen used the name James Colton to write his early "Gay Pulp fiction" novels of the Stonewall era. They are considerably racier than Hansen's later novels written under his own name. The novels written as James Colton are very rare, and used copies can be very expensive. A classic tale of of one man's struggle with his his deepest needs. Marc Lingard, a handsome, respected young minister, finds himself at a crossroads. The homophobic persecution of a local resident unearths Marc's long-repressed memories of a youthful love affair, and he is irresistibly drawn to his forbidden urges.
