"The Exploits of a Young Don Juan" (1911) is a humorous and provocative coming-of-age novel about love and sex. Roger, a young man from a good family, accompanies his sister and mother to the countryside, to the family estate. Filled with uninhibited servants, it's the perfect opportunity for him, who dreams only of languorous women, voluptuous breasts, and fragrant folds, to explore all possibilities. Seducing every woman in a skirt, he shrinks from no perversion to satisfy his desire. A loose, and far more moral, film adaptation of the novel was made in 1987 by Gianfranco Mingozzi, as well as a graphic novel adaptation by Georges Pichard (2010).
