This amazing collection of film memorabilia is a 'must read'' for anyone interested in the history of boys in cinema and will hopefully be of interest to readers at TVM. As the above back-cover blurb says, this 334 page book is filled with rare and never before published photographs, posters, newspaper articles, and correspondence between John Holmstrom and the grown-up former boy actors. The file size is large because I wanted to preserve the high quality of Paul Sutton's outstanding work. Don Carlos has already promised to convert the scans into ePub format, as and when time permits. Those concerned at the file size may wish to wait for that before downloading. You will need all four parts to complete the book, but each part can be viewed independently. Please note, there are No questionable pictures in the collection as far as I can see. This book was published in 2014 and so was presumably passed by the UK Censor at that time. Unfortunately, I do not have a copy of the original John Holmstrom book, 'The Moving Picture Boy Encyclopaedia.' It is long out of print, but perhaps those who have access to second hand book stores may find a copy some day.
