Vampire Junction, S. P. Somtow's groundbreaking novel of vampiric horror, introduced Timmy Valentine, a world-famous rock star with the body of a twelve-year-old boy...and the ageless soul of a bloodthirsty predator. Timmy returned in Valentine, in which he finally shed his undead curse forever. Or did he?

In Vanitas, Timmy Valentine has relinquished his immortality and transferred his vampiric essence to young Angel Todd. Timmy is now an ordinary boy, awakened at last from an ancient nightmare. His new album has just come out, but there's something missing. In a desperate bid to salvage his career, he goes on a world tour. Every stop, though, brings haunting memories of his inhuman past and terrifying manifestations of a blood-drenched future.

  Dares to Speak (1997)

What was Oscar Wilde imprisoned for a hundred years ago if not the love of boys? Today once more, the "love that dares not speak its name" is despised and rejected, as if the sexual mores of classical Greece, medieval Japan or Islamic civilization could be adequately comprehended under a heading such as 'child abuse'. This pioneering anthology gathers contributions from a wide range of international authorities, broadly divided into cross-cultural and historical on the one hands and contemporary controversy on the other. Contributors include Gilbert Herdt, Gisela Bleibtreu-Ehrenberg, Holliday Wakefield and Ralph Underwager, as well as pieces on the Uranian poets and John Henry Mackay, "satanic ritual abuse" and legal changes in the Netherlands.

The Life & Work of Henry Scott Tuke (1987)

A stunning and sensuous collection of paintings by this English 'Painter of Youth'. Like his close American contemporary Thomas Eakins, Tuke's naturalist paintings of naked young men were inspired by classical ideals of perfection, by the Impressionists and plein air painters, and by the poetic influence of Walt Whitman.

Tuke returned from London to settle in his native Cornwall, where the idyllic coastline is the setting for much of his work. Largely forgotten after his death, in a Freudian age when the sexuality of his paintings could not be ignored, Tuke has now been rediscovered and enjoyed by a new generation. All his major paintings are reproduced in colour in this first published monograph on the artist, now available in large format paperback.

  Anna - Brother (2015)

From the bestselling horror author of "Within These Walls" and The "Bird Eater" comes a terrifying novel that follows a teenager determined to break from his family’s unconventional—and deeply disturbing—traditions.

Deep in the heart of Appalachia stands a crooked farmhouse miles from any road. The Morrows keep to themselves, and it’s served them well so far. When girls go missing off the side of the highway, the cops don’t knock on their door. Which is a good thing, seeing as to what’s buried in the Morrows’ backyard.
But nineteen-year-old Michael Morrow isn’t like the rest of his family. He doesn’t take pleasure in the screams that echo through the trees. Michael pines for normalcy, and he’s sure that someday he’ll see the world beyond West Virginia. When he meets Alice, a pretty girl working at a record shop in the small nearby town of Dahlia, he’s immediately smitten. For a moment, he nearly forgets about the monster he’s become. But his brother, Rebel, is all too eager to remind Michael of his place…

Review
“[A] visceral, nihilistic thriller….Ahlborn’s impressive writing and expert exploration of the psychological effects of systemic abuse elevate what could have been the literary equivalent of a slasher flick, and the twist in the final act is jaw-dropping. This relentlessly grim tale is definitely not for the squeamish, but it’s nearly impossible to put down.” — Publishers Weekly (starred review)
"This story of brotherly love/hate will crush you to the core... Brother delivers horror on all fronts...The writing is so good, so precision perfect. that Brother may be this year's sleeper novel, certainly of the Gone Girl caliber, that deserves all the praise and accolades it will definitely receive...An instant classic...This is one book you need to get in your hands as soon as possible." — This is Horror
"Ania Ahlborn is a great storyteller who spins an atmosphere of dread literally from the first page." —Jeff Somers, acclaimed author of We Are Not Good People
